 Program: Opening Address
  Participants arrived at Boy's Brigade HQ around 8.30pm after being picked up by 2 buses from Yishun MRT.  A brief welcoming and introduction session of what serving learning is about went on. Then, the committee members took turns to introduce themselves to the participants.  To allow the participants to get to know each other more and have good bonding among themselves, we had an ice breaking session. The first program we had was Life Journey . In this game, the participants [some of the committee members joined in as well] are required to draw out their memorable moments in their life from age 1 to 30 June 2006.   Ray sharing her Life Journey with us Through the sharing seesion, we got to know everyone better and it was also a chance to get to know the inner them. After the session, we had a short quiz to see how much we could remember our friends and of what events in their life did we remember them for.
 
 After which, the participants were seperated into 2 groups. We were then broke up and proceed to the next program: Rescue Me. In Rescue Me, participants are given a story about 8 different people on how they contributed to the society and a bit on their life stories. However, the cruise where they were on was sinking and out of 8 people, they could only save 3. So which 3 are they going to save?

 After the teams came out with an answer, there were difference in their answers. Hence, the two teams were then combined together to compromise to 1 answer. In the midst of it, there were many small conflicts as Team 1 insisted on saving Terence while Team 2 refused to see Paul vanished with the cruise. After much discussions, slight arguements, reasonings and most of all, compromising, the participants chose Paul, Serene and Anna to be saved.

 There isn't any right or wrong answer. The main purpose of this game is to stimulate the participants' cognitive thinking process and to see how they solve conflicts among themselves.

 Program: Night Trail & Team Challenge
 
 The next program we had was Night Trail & Team Challenge at nearby Sembawang Park. Likewise, participants are separated into 2 teams. They are supposed to complete 4 stations within 2 hours. However, here comes the challenge. They have to collect 5 color strips [either yellow or pink] before they can start on a station. The teams were given clues and a map to find their stations.

 The challenge was completed with Team 2 winning this leg. It was already 12am by the time both teams completed the trail. Everyone were very tired and famished.

 Program: Supper
 
 Finally, back at BB HQ, before ending the night off, we had a mini birthday celebration for 1 of the committee member, Siying. Happy 18th Birthday! After the cake and the debrief sharing session, it was bathing and lights out for the participants.

 As the participants are resting and sleeping, the committee continues to prepare and plan programs for the next day ensuring that everyone would be happy and things would be in order.
 
 Day 2
 Time: 7.30am
 Program: Breakfast
 
 With less than 8 hours of sleep, it is time to wake up for more activities. Early bird catches the worm right?

 Program: Trust Games [TeleMatch]
 
 After breakfast and a quick exercise activity, our 1st program of the day was a TeleMatch. Again, the participants are split into 2 groups, 7 in each team. There were a total of 6 stations to complete and each person are to complete 1. The objective of this game is to let the participants know each other's strength hence, coming out with the best strategy to complete and compete.

 At 1st station, participants were to walk on a straight line for some distant with a ping pong ball on an inverted paper cup.

 At 3rd station, participants were to complete 1 can of coke in just 1 gulp. The challenge: Coke is fizzy.

 At the 4th station, participants had to turn 10 rounds and then they had to write their full name in reverse.
 
 
  Unlocking the "DotBox" Locks 
 The 5th station, participants were given 5 locks and keys. The keys were jumbled up and exchanged in between teams. The participants had to unlock all the 5 locks that were given to them.
 
 The last and the 6th station, 2 participants had to be strong enough to carry a rider across the basketball court in a sedan like arm chair.

 Program: Service Learning/Community Service Workshop
 
 After hours of fun, it was time to do some serious stuff and be enriched with new knowledge. Most of the camp participants were new to the idea of Service Learning and are not aware of the difference between Service Learning and Community Service. In this workshop, we aimed to show and teach them what is Service Learning through group work, brainstorming, illustrations, role plays and also games.

 Program: Lunch
 
 After a long morning, it is to time to "refuel". It was lunch time. Embraced with service learning, the participants were given plain porridge, salted egg and achar.

 While the participants took their lunch and have their rest, the committee were hard at work with Problem-Based Service Learning (PBSL) and Campfire activities.

 Program: Problem - Based Service Learning - Let's Protect Singapore
 
 After an hour of lunch and rest, it was time for the participants to engage in some activities and work again. For this PBSL session, we had an observer, Mr Alan Soh from Nee Soon Central YEC (People Association). He was invited to the camp to observe the PBSL facilitation process, to know more about DotBox as well as sharing his views regarding the session.

 After a mind draining session, the participants had some fun with another 2 teambuilding games, Stand in a Line and Sling Museum. [Unfortunately there weren't any photos] When the games ended, the participants were given time to rest, change and freshen up for the dinner and campfire.

 Program: Buffet Dinner and Campfire
 
 A buffet dinner was kindly catered and prepared by Chengze's mum. After a freshening up and a change into DOtbox's T-shirt, everyone got together for a buffet dinner. Apart from mingling around with the participants, getting feedbacks from them, a table game was also played during dinner. The tired mood was eased by the laughter, the games and the food.

 2 days of memories,several hours spent together, many friends made, things learnt, it is time to say goodbye... May the participants excel further and bloom as high and as bright as the fireworks...
