CLub Youth Fest - 18 Nov 2006 - Late update
Firstly, apologized for the late update as we are all busy!!!!! here presenting to you the report of Club Youth Fest. I understand that it should be blog few months back but bearing in mind that we are all busy with our new event so well even my dearest write Serene do not have the time to blog.
The event started off well in Club Momo at around 8 pm where the first batch of Club enter the clubbing to the tunes of RnB.
Dotbox is proud to be running this club social enterprise event for Assisi Home and Hospice in conjunction with Asia Paranormal investigator.
In this event, we are going to raise awareness among youth what is a hospice. As part of the aim to get closer to youth, we also have another set of social mission which is to get youth to be the performer for event. A event to showcase talent.
The performer includes STM (Sensually Transmitted Music), Paradox (Jamming grp), Amaturer Rockers (Jamming Grp), Krushlines (Rapper), LA Dance Connection as the main sponsor for the Club Event.
The went went on excitingly with many youth clubber entering the scene of the crime
With them entering the club, we have more performance. The emcee start of the ceremony.
Our Guest of Honour - MP - Dr Lam Pin Min.
After Dr Lam arrived, he gave an opening speech to inspire the youth clubber about how a good social enterprise model can be.

After which, Dr Lam gave out token of appreciation to all the grp that sponsor 1 way or another.

Dotbox's Managing Director went on the stage to present the token of appreciation to Dr Lam for gracing the ceromony.
After Dr Lam finish the presentation of token of appreciation, it is SHOWTIME. First, we have LA dance Connection to dance their Trademark LA Hip Hop!
They did outstandingly well and impress the audience well!
Simultaneously, Dr Lam was approached by API to take a group picture.
Followed by the dance performance we have Yeebah!
After Yeebah, we have a grp of young talent rapper! Krushlines
The event ended with free style Hip Hop where our Yeebah and LA Dance connection fill the floor
The LA dancers are filled with Zest and they began to crowd together and start to dance again!
not only spinning RnB, we allow them to spin trance in Momo. Of course this is something out of the box!

Also in another room (Live Band), we have a grp of young talented Acapella Singer sing many favourite old and new tunes!

sometimes, it is always good to have surprises and I have a big surprise this event. we got some pretty girls volunteering to do the polo dance!
Other than that "guest dancer", we have a special group of students from Republic Polytechnic W36K (06 Sem1) joining us!
This is definitely a out of the box event. Thank you Assisi Hospice for giving us a chance to work with you!
